Alex Dadakis
serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Business Operations and Innovation Officer of UL Solutions. In this
role, which he started in January 2025, Dadakis oversees the company’s day-to-day business operational
functions and leads and unifies the areas of science-led strategy, commercial excellence, communications,
technology and innovation.
style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">Prior to joining UL Solutions,
Dadakis served as Senior Vice President, Global Head of Strategy and Corporate Development, leading strategic
transformation, at Germany-based Knauf Group, Gebr KG. Previously, he was SVP and Chief Customer Experience and
Strategy Officer at USG Corporation, where he started in 2017, prior to USG’s merger with Knauf. Dadakis
was an associate partner at management consulting firm Bain & Company before joining USG.

board of directors of Mercy Housing Lakefront, an organization that works to eliminate homelessness and housing
insecurity. He is also a member of the board of the Evans Scholarship Leadership Counsel.

Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in
economics from Wake Forest University.
